Afgelopen week weer flink wat meters gemaakt! πͺπ½
Zo hebben we diverse aftakkingen van PE110 gemaakt, twee segmenten van PE250 geprefabriceerd en zijn we gestart met het Spiegellasseb van de PE315 leidingen inclusief Y- en T-stukken. π₯
Het weer werkte deze week helaas wat minder mee dan de week ervoor π§οΈπ . De tent kwam daardoor goed van pas en heeft ons regelmatig droog gehouden. Gelukkig laten we ons daardoor niet tegenhouden en werken we gewoon door aan een mooi stukje vakwerk. π
Wegens het gruwelijke slechte weer op einde van de dag geen overzicht foto van waar we gebleven zijn. π§οΈ π§οΈ π§οΈ

Dinsdagmiddag kreeg ik een telefoontje met de vraag of ik donderdagmorgen βeven snelβ een flens op een buis kon lassen.
Klinkt simpel⦠tot blijkt dat er ook nog eens twee keer 45 graden tussen moeten, omdat de flens verder van de muur af moest komen.
Aan de hand van een foto van de situatie gaf ik direct aan dat ik minimaal 10 cm ruimte tussen buis en muur nodig had om mijn werk goed uit te kunnen voeren.
Snel alle materialen geregeld en vanochtend op locatie aangekomen.
Daar bleek de muur nog deels verwijderd te moeten worden. Toen dat gebeurd was, bleef er geen 10 cm over, maar slechts 8,3 cm.
Dat werd spannend, want mijn klem heeft minimaal 8,2 cm nodig. Bij de eerste las moest ik zelfs de buitenste ril verwijderen om de klem er ΓΌberhaupt nog tussenuit te krijgen.
βRecht instorten is toch niet zo moeilijk?β
Blijkbaar wel voor sommige bedrijven. π
Maar uiteindelijk draait het om oplossingen vinden waar anderen obstakels zien.

Zandzuiger in Friesland
Vandaag dezelfde hobby als de rest van de week uitgevoerd, alleen deze keer 260 km van huis. π
De dag begon wel vroeg: om 07.00 uur afgesproken voor eerst een bakkie koffie β, daarna aan de slag.
Een verlengbuis van 355 SDR11 PE, maar liefst 110 meter lang, gemaakt voor een zandzuiger.
Weer een mooie klus afgerond en een tevreden gevoel aan het einde van de dag. π₯

Met leidingwerk 400 zijn we begonnen aan een mooi project waarbij de diameters variΓ«ren van 110 tot en met 450. π§
Het zonnetje liet zich vandaag ook weer goed zien βοΈ

Weer lekker bezig geweest in Eindhoven voor Forza Infra B.V. πͺ
In slechts 1,5 dag flink kunnen knallen en mooie stappen gezet. Het weer zit lekker mee, wat het werken nog net even beter maakt βοΈ
β‘οΈ Vooruitdenken en samen met Jermaine bespreken wat het beste plan van aanpak is πͺπ½ Dat maakt uiteindelijk het verschil op locatie.

Vandaag een stevig windje, windkracht 7 Γ 8, maar daar laten we ons niet door tegenhouden. Dankzij onze wind- en regenbeschutte Lascontainer gaat het werk onverminderd door.

Last week, I received a phone call asking if I could pitch in for a few days. A fellow welder was temporarily out of action due to personal circumstances, and naturally, you help out wherever you can.
Coincidentally, we recently drove through a nearby village where PE gas pipelines were being installed. I said back then: βNice work, so close to home for Bruininx-Global.β And so it became reality.
We are busy, but sometimes you have to shift things around to make the right things happen. Flexibility and collaboration β that is what we stand for at Bruininx-Global. ππ½πͺπ½

On large construction projects, tight schedules and hard deadlines sometimes mean you have to make adjustments even on Sundays.
Today presented a nice challenge: the valve did not fit between the flanges. With fixed points, it required careful fitting and measuring, but thanks to two welds at 355 mm, the result is sleek once again.

The final job of 2025: one with a bit of a smell⦠and plenty of mud.
The day was the moment: the pumping stations were shut down and we could get back to work. The relocated Γ250 mm pressure pipeline has been successfully connected to the existing route. A great milestone!

By Monday, they were already neatly on site in Rotterdam β perfectly arranged πͺπ½
Yesterday was the day.
Arrived in Baarlo at 7:00 AM, but what happened?
π No crane available π
So, quick thinking again: called Bas Jansen from Jansen Verhuur to see if they could deliver a small crane urgently. And sure enough, at 10:00 AM an 8-ton truck was on the doorstep β 1.5 hours from home! What a powerhouse β€οΈβπ₯
After that, we worked full throttle.
By 10:00 PM the work was finished and the pipes were neatly laid out.
Today, VTV Drilling can pull them in nicely.
Everything well ahead of time, as it should be. π
Was it tough? Definitely.
Doing it yourself: pulling through, mirroring, removing the beading, and laying pipes β thatβs a real grind.
But heyβ¦ everything worked out again! π₯

What an amazing machine! Thanks to this modern technology, the entire welding process runs fully automatically, precisely according to protocol, and with full registration.
We are currently working on a 160 SDR11 high-pressure gas pipeline commissioned by Hurkmans / Enexis. As always, we also perform the necessary test welds directly from the work site to ensure quality.

A few days ago, I received a call asking if I had time to make three Γ250 SDR17 welds in Lelystad. βWeβll make time for that,β I thought.
No sooner said than done: today at 7:00 AM, I was at the construction site. And what a construction site! I have never worked on such a large project before: the new JYSK distribution center, which is currently under construction. ποΈ
Today was all about connecting the Γ250 SDR17 fire extinguishing pipe. In the end, it turned out not to be three welds, but eleven. πͺ
And the pressure was really on: everything has to be finished this weekend, because the road on the construction site MUST be open again on Monday. Tomorrow I will return to make an adjustment to the Γ355 fire extinguishing pipe, because the fire hydrant does not fit in between yet.

For a client, we recently replaced a PVC pipe that was connected to a PE pipe using a slip-on coupling.
The PVC proved unable to withstand the pressure shocks from the irrigation pump and ruptured as a result.
β Solution: the entire section β from the pump to the directional drilling β was executed in PE.
The result? A robust, flexible, and low-maintenance piping solution that effortlessly absorbs the load.
π§ Sometimes, replacing entirely with PE is simply the best choice for reliability and lifespan.

Today, we performed the final 15 mirror welds on the Aquatherm Energyblue system for Forza Infra B.V. πͺπ½
The +GF+ 500 and 400 machines were used again for this:
πΉ 500 machine with insert shells Γ355 mm
πΉ 400 machine with insert shells Γ250 mm
β’ 250/400 mm PPR OT / PE (SDR11)
β’ 355/500 mm PPR / PE (SDR17.6)
All welds were performed in accordance with procedure, with correct cooling times and visual inspection. The OT layer on the 250 mm pipes was carefully peeled off prior to welding, as required. π οΈ With this, the welding work for this project is completed.βοΈ
